Therefore, advanced flow sensing technology, such as ultrasonic, jet and electromagnetic wave, must be adopted.

Intelligent water meters will enhance the reliability of products in the future development trend. At present, IC card meters and wireless remote water meters widely used in urban water construction and water supply management are troubled by battery problems. Battery life has a great impact on signal and accuracy, and leads to reduced reliability. Therefore, we must effectively overcome the problems existing in battery capacity and battery volume, urgently develop new power supplies, and adopt advanced technologies such as low-power design and fast charging.
