First, when we choose a remote water meter, we should consider the working environment of the remote water meter, such as water temperature, working pressure, working time, measuring range and water quality, and so on. Then through the design process of the remote water meter, it is concluded that the pressure loss of the water meter is close to and does not exceed the specified value, and the diameter of the remote water meter is determined. Generally speaking, when the nominal value is not less than, the rotor type remote water meter should be used. When the nominal is directly greater than, the spiral wing remote water meter should be used. When the water flow changes greatly, double water meters should be used, and the wet water meter should be the first choice in the interior design.
When the water is relatively uniform, it should be used to determine the nominal flow path design basis with the remote meter less than seconds. When the fire flow will be checked for flow, ensure that the total flow does not exceed the maximum limit of the flow meter.
