(2) Water meters installed underground should be covered with water meter well covers or covered with wooden boards. Water meters with installed water meter tanks must be filled with thermal insulation materials such as cotton and hemp fabric around the distance between the water meter and the meter tank.
(3) In severe cold weather, you can unscrew the faucet slightly at night to form a line to ensure the flow of tap water in the pipe, which can effectively prevent the pipeline from freezing and blocking. The dripped water can be used in a suitable container to conserve water.
(4) If you are not at home for a long time, you can close the water supply valve on the water meter in the house before leaving the house, and drain the tap water in the pipe.
