Ultrasonic water meter: the measuring range is mostly better than 100:1. The extremely low starting flow rate can be lower than 0.01m/s. The effective measuring range is large and can prevent running, emitting, dripping and leakage.
3. Waterproof grade
Electromagnetic water meter: for electronic products, the protection grade is strictly required to be IP68 or even higher. Only qualified products can be achieved.
Ultrasonic water meter: it is an electronic device product. The waterproof grade shall strictly comply with the IP68 regulations. Only qualified products can achieve this.
4. Abrasiveness
Ultrasonic water meter: without any mechanical moving parts, it is almost never worn. The accuracy has little to do with the service time. Generally, the calibration cycle of measurement exceeds three years.
Electromagnetic water meter: without all mechanical equipment subject moving parts, it will never be damaged. The precision has little to do with the service time. Generally, the measurement verification cycle is more than three years.
5. Installation method
Electromagnetic water meter: u10d5 or u5d3: 10/5 times the pipe section aperture length at upstream and 5/3 times the pipe section aperture length at downstream; Horizontal or vertical, always in the same plane as the electrode.
Ultrasonic water meter: the industry-leading product can be better than u3d0: the upstream needs 3 times the pipe section aperture length, and the downstream can be directly connected to the elbow. The installation method can be selected at will according to the on-site standard. It can be installed horizontally, vertically or askew.
The electronic water meter has its own electrical signal output, which can effectively overcome the problem of measurement data output and conversion.
